Trailing Arm Options

I have a 1994 Buick Regal GS 2dr and replaced the trailing arms a couple years ago. At the time, only the U-Shaped ones were available. Does anyone know if there is a heavier duty solid round trailing arm for the 94 GS? Thank you!

The u shaped arms are oem. You can fit Gen 2 trailing arms and they are adjustable. Lateral arms are not a direct swap and need to have their length adjusted. Lots of info on this in the search.

Close, Gen 2 trailing arms are a ditect swap but are not adjustable and are typically square tubing. Second Gen lats are typically modified, the long one that's adjustable will fit a first gen but the other is the wrong length. GOT2BGM can modify a set of the adjustable ones to shorten them and coupled with an unmodified set you have fully adjustable lats.

Any way I'd be able to get a hold of a fully adjustable set? :)

I did the rear coilover conversion and I run unmodified gen 2 lateral links. They widen the rear stance about an inch, but you can't use unmodified ones if you still have a monoleaf

Besides having to mod the lateral links, would I have to mod anything else in the rear with the monoleaf, in order for them to bolt up?

No, but the inside bolt for the forward lateral link does not come out. It hits the gas tank when removing. GM put it in backwards from what they should have. Either the subframe or the gastank will have to be lowered to get it out. Once you do that and get it out, reinsert the bolt from the BACK, putting the NUT on the front when going back together, like GM should have done. Also remember to install all links/arms and leave the bolts loose until the car is on the ground. DO NOT tighten them with the suspension dropped.
