I have 3 spare Prom/memcals in one of my many parts bags.  1 of them im quite certain is from the GP SE with a 284 I found years ago; but like a dummy I didn't tag it in any way.  Wondering if there's a list or if anyone knows how to identify it??  I have a 5speed swap in the works and the prom/memcal coming from it as well but would be nice to identify the spare.

The 4 memcal's used with the 91-93 LQ1 are AYSZ, BBUK, BCDT & BCFA.

BBUK is the early manual trans memcal, & BCFA or *1441* is the later manual trans memcal.

AYSZ = 1992 LQ1/Auto

BBUK = 1993 LQ1/Manual

BCFA = 1991 LQ1/Manual

BCFA is the one you'll want to use

AUSJ is the T code engine (3.1) W body for 91,

AUBU is the T code engine W body for 93 auto trans

these all come out of the 16149396 ECM

Well I'm pleased that you found that info,

the website I WAS making use of for the database now seems to be gone       gmpartsdb.com        mind you it's been 4 years since I last was into it.

what source are you using?

I remembered seeing a break down of them on the Fiero forum a year or so ago, so on a whim I looked. http://www.fiero.nl/...1-2-068480.html

I used to have a snapon book with all these codes, but I think it got tossed since no one wanted it years ago.

There is a small chance it's in a box still.
