I’ve got yet another 4T60e failure in my summertime ride. This will be the 3rd transaxle this car has needed. Rather than put one more 4T60e in it I’m thinking about a swap to a 4T65e and engine swap/OBD-2 swap as well. Have any of you done it? and what did you use? Was the switch to OBD-2 a big deal? Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'd be tempted, if the necessary parts could be found to put a 5-speed in it, and call it a day.

It's been covered many times doing an L67 / 4T65e swap in a first gen. I did it, many have done it. All the information is scattered throughout the forum. Start a build thread and members will guide you along and point to the necessary information.
