My son just got home and his car just randomly stalls when coming to a stop. It stalled 5 times for him. I looked it over and took it for a test drive. It stalled for me when I was off the gas just coasting. It fires right back up everytime. It does have a slight miss at idle atleast it feels like it. Runs fine and has no miss under load. Back story, it had new plugs, wires, fuel filter, IAC, timing belt and pulleys, all new intake gaskets. I was leaning to the Egr or tps. Anyone have anymore ideas?? It's in the driveway now, going to look more in the morning. Thanks guys

A bad crankshaft position sensor can do that too, and never set a code. For that matter, so can a bad ignition control module.

I am now leaning towards the ICM more and more. Took it out tonight to see if my fiddling today helped, well it didnt. It stalled sitting at a red light. It took till the engine got hot enough for the fan to kick on. Once the fan turned off it stalled a few seconds after. I am thinking the ICM is failing when it gets to hot. Still have a slight miss at idle, so that makes sense. It had been years and years since I had Ignition issues with a 60*, so I am a little lost right now lol.

Probably right, an IACV could do it but all you have to do is a little pressure on the pedal to crack the throttle plate and it would be normalish. Does the idle jump around?

I changed the ICM this morning and took it for a ride. It didn't stall, but when going down the road and letting off the throttle the rpms due fluctuate a little. Maybe 100 to 200 rpms. I do hear an exhaust leak which sounds like it's coming from the Egr tube. Don't know if that will cause these issues or not
