Hi - I am in Ohio and front license plate is required.

I don't like the Grand Prix front offset license plate location:

I want to relocate the license plate to middle of bumper somewhere.   I'm thinking of adding dual race stripes across hood, roof, trunk, etc.  The offset licesnse plate messes up my symmetrical lines.

Anybody have pics, hoping to steal an idea from someone else :)

I agree. Here in NY we have the same problem.

See the plate on the GP is offset for cooling efficiency.

One of my Cadillacs had no front plate and I was not happy when I had to mount a plate holder into the nice clean bumper.

Good idea, I'll look into that mount.  I did a quick look, WOW, there is even a $150 version that is motorized to show/hide your license plate.  Even has a keyfob for remote control.  I won't be buying the motorized version, but learn something new everyday

Easy solution!  I took off the OE license frame from front bumper.  I rotated it 180degrees, this leave two of the mount holes at the top of the frame.  The license frame mount holes line up real nice on the bottom of the front grilles.  Behind the front grills is the heavy foam impact bumpers.  I used a 3" screw and mounted the license frame through the front grilles and into the impact bumpers.  For good measure I coated the screw threads with Gorilla Glue.  Nice sturdy connection!

For added measure, used a blob of Automotive Goop on the middle-backside of the license frame to adhere to the front bumper cover.

I'll fill in the old license frame screw holes in a few weeks.  I have work to do on this bumper cover because I fixed the crack by the driver fog light with aluminum backer and rivets.

I'm happy now, car is looking symmetrical
