Finishing up

So iam finishing up my 92 turbo swap. Spent lots of time and money on the motor. Took the block in for a simple home and cleaning ended up coming out with .030 bored and pistons to match. 260h cam with 1.6 rockers ls6 valve springs, arp head studs, ported and polished from the intake manifold to the exhaust manifolds. Transmission rebuilt and wiring harness gone through and new loom put on. Need some advice and maybe a part or two.

My biggest thing right now is going through suspension, brakes, steering. The 92 is a SE with b4u body kit on it. I was wondering is it worth it to change the steering rack out to the sport one. Instead of 3 turns lock to lock, sport is 2.25. I have a 34 mm front sway bar for it and will be putting in an addco rear sway bar in shortly. Iam not looking for a autocross car but something way better then the old sloppy suspension.

Parts needed are the rear camshaft cover, don't know where mine went. Also the the steering shaft boot.

Thank you guys for taking time to read and check my post out. I know you guys will have the answers iam looking for.

It's a matter of preference really.  The 2.25 steering rack I believe is unique to the TGPs although there is another sportier rack that is more common but if you have a B4U body kit, you likely have that one already.  If you already have everything out and you have or can get the TGP rack than why not, it does turn tight. :)  Adding strut tower braces will help as well.  The cutlass convertible stb for the front and AWEB makes or at least used to make rear stbs.  Trailing arms used to be easy before GMPP discontinued them, now I'm not sure what your options are there.  If your control arm bushings are old rubber, you have have new poly ones pressed in although that can be a little intensive but it does make a difference.  Lots of options.

Im sure you dont want to see pictures of dogs playing, but too bad.

Perhaps taking a break from the topic would help make a difficult decision about that steering rack upon re-visitation? Yeah, I can see the feasibility of that.
