Let down by vert

Was getting vert washed to pick wife up at LAX. Car wash guy calls me over when he's done and passenger door won't close. Latch somehow stuck in closed position. Had to drive home from car wash by holding seatbelt on passenger door so it wouldn't fly open. Mechanic buddy across street played with pliers/ screwdriver to no avail. This is second time getting ready for special trip with this car and something happens with car at last minute to end the plan. Today, I hate this car.

FIXED! once I regained my composure, and ate a Big Mac, I started playing with latch. Used small screwdriver and needle- nose to push little catch up while pulling latch down towards open position. Now, it works fine. This is an example of why I don't like unknowledgeable people (car wash, Pep Boys, Midas, etc. ) messing with this car. Honestly, they just go blundering-in like its a Corolla or something. This car is older than most mechanics and workers at those places. It's also more complicated than the workers are equipped to deal with. Okay, rant over, see you at LAX with top down!

SONIC FTW!!!!

Yeah, I hate dealing with people when it comes to working on my cars. Glass people fucked up my weatherstripping on my 94 Cutlass. Total PITA
