Are there any new leads on convertible weather stripping replacement parts? Is there any way to adapt at least some of the weather stripping (in particular for the top rail) from another, more available car? Are there there any companies considering reproducing these parts? Nas Escobar Posted June 19, 2016 Report Share Posted June 19, 2016 No new leads, our cars are disappearing quicker than WWII vets. _________________________ The top rail, closest thing I found that fits in the rail is the 3rd weatherstripping piece out of a 1995-2006 Chrysler Sebring. Its the piece that goes near the quarter window and C pillar. __________________________ No one is considering a repro but i do have seals i grabbed off of a 92 in Ohio. Is there any chance that a same year Pontiac Sunbird convertible would have similar parts? maybe some to cut and paste together?
