I have checked my vacuum lines for leaks, changed my MAP, TPS, and IAC sensors. It runs and idles at 1K. But when I put it in ANY gear it stalls out. I am at a loss on what it could be. Please help.

Put a scan tool on it, find out what the commanded RPM is. Would be helpful to verify fuel trim and O2 sensor readings.

Is the power steering whining? Air conditioning compressor stuck "on", or a defective pulley bearing?

No one has an OBD1 scanner for me to use for free. I know how to do the do-it-yourself way. It reads code 23. Power steering leaks, I dont think the ac comp is stuck on. Dont know about a stuck bearing. When day light hits I will look. What should I look for on those?

Might check connection and connectors for damage or corrosion. Seems Code 23 is tied in with the Intake Air Temp. sensor. Here is the info from my 94 CS about Code 23, Says DTC 23 will set when IAT signal indicates a temp. of -35F degrees for longer than 4 minutes. PCM uses IAT default value of 108F degrees and the MIL light on dash illuminates. DTC 23 will clear when the intake temp. is indicated above the threshold. A history DTC23 will clear after 50 consecutive key cycles without a current DTC23 being stored.

i wonder if the shifter position switch isn't indicating the shifter moving from park. that alone shouldn't cause a stall though, unless the trans engages really roughly.

brings up an interesting question: 3 speed or 4 speed transmission?

Indicator is fine and it shifts to R and D. Just stalls or lack of power. 3spd. Trans engages fine and doesn't slam.
