Changes on the horizon

I feel I should give a preview of whats been in the works for a little while now as I have been saying to those who asked whats going on "I got something going on, but I can't tell you". Well the first part of this year has been a little rougher sailing then we like to see here. Emotions have been high. I get that.

New rules are being worked on for both Members and Staff, I want to streamline them some, make it easier to read and add things that should have been there years ago. Also staff response is being changed for what I like to think is the better, You may notice recourse for things coming down what some would consider way after the fact. But I want to ensure proper staff dialogue first. What I'm saying is I want this to be a more positive place, and I apologize on the staffs behalf as we have dropped the ball somewhat on that.

I know some things take time here, understand that this is not one of the many add ridden forums where they are part of some company that runs web forums and that is all they do. The Administration down to every moderator is NOT paid AT ALL for their efforts. We do the very best that we can.

A huge thank you to our loyal membership without you guys this site would never have been online 12+ years now. Thanks for sticking around thick and thin. This is probably the best group of people I've ever been associated with.

So look for changes coming down in the next few months, maybe sooner. Due to a momentary lapse of reason I think I'll leave this open for comment... for the time being.

Thanks

-Chris

I am glad to be a member of this community, and I'm glad to have the people here that we do. I thank everyone here who has helped me with a problem, and as Al said, I would also do as much as I can to help people out here. Thank you for letting me be a part of this community, and for being there when I've needed you (this goes to everyone here).

Wow. This community has been online for over 12 years? I must give the staff props; it's really amazing as you don't see that happening very often. People get bored and go elsewhere, not over here it seems.

As I've said before, I feel privileged to be part of this community as it is a privilege to be and not a right. I certainly don't feel like the most appreciated person out here (with my emotional spurs and idiocy (and/or immaturity)), but it doesn't take away the fact that the members are nice people and I can only hope to be able to meet some of them in the future.

Whichever direction the site wants to take, I support it.

I'll go on and say here, that I think this is a GREAT place for anyone who owns a W. Even those like myself who don't know shit tons about the car itself can benefit vast amounts from being a member here, I've really learned a lot. I've also found a few parts that I've really wanted. Yes sometimes people will have disagreements, but that will happen anywhere. I really appreciate what you all are doing here and I'll do anything I can to help you all out like you've helped me. Change is always nice, I'm anxious to see what's in store.

Again, thank you all.:D

I'm not on here as much as I used to be or as much as is like to be. Life happens and when you are on the militarys time, I do what i can, when allowed. This is and will always be my home forum.

There are good people on this forum. They know the w-body like nobody's business.

Knowlege is power only when it's shared, so thanks for making this the best resource on the net to help me keep my Cutty running/looking like it should.

Lucky for you, you have a lot less work to keep your running and looking like it should compared to a few other members lol
