Way to much money

My car was running the shits and i went to canadian tire for a tune up

so they put in new fuel filter, spark plug/ wires, o2 sensor, pci something or other, throttle body gasket.

SO now the car stalls when im at a light, or stop when its hot out, doesn't do it when im on the highway wtf is the matter???

I would take it right back to them and tell them that they broke it, so they can fix it........

Irratic idling and stalling is often the IAC. Did they clean or change it? I'd never take my car to Canadian Tire for a tune up

I bet they did a poor job of putting on the throttle body gasket, or reused the old one and charged you for a new one!

Canadian tire swindled me out of 30 bucks. Went in to get a starting problem checked out. They suggested an "AVR" test, but did not put down any notes describing the problem for the mechanic. It turns out that in an "AVR" test, they do not even test for starting problems! Too bad I signed the work order.
I've heard several other stories of Canadian Tire incompetency and crookedness including doing unauthorized work and other mechanical problems appearing "mysteriously" like your problem.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO CANADIAN TIRE!!!

Just make sure that the electrical connectors are tight to the IAC, TPS, Air Charge Temperature Sensor, etc.

You should have done it yourself. Anyway, what is done is done.
