    Uber rare Cutlass...

How rare must this car be? I have never seen one, that's for sure. 90' Cutlass Sedan Quad 4 5-speed.

    Robert is right.

The guy selling this is a tool.

If I hadn't just gotten fired, I'd probably have bought it some time next week.

It definitely needs work, and the "performance exhaust" he claims to have put on it is nothing more than a loud as fuck muffler.

I would say that it's worth saving, and $700 seems fair enough given the used car market these days.

honestly, compared to the price of similar cars, diregarding rarity, 700 is excellent. i mean, Q4 5 speed CS sedan? WIN.

I did not know the CS could have a 4 banger. Nor did I know of a manual transmission on a 4 door. Even on the first gen Lumina, I was told Euro 3.4 couldn't get a manual but the Z34 could.

just like you could order a 90-94 Lumina with a 2.5 Iron Duke it in it. Rare as those are, i have seen my fair share. Cant imagine they go anywhere fast. I have heard about these Q4 5spd CS's, compared to the 3.1 they scoot along pretty good! And, still get good gas mileage!

    Q4 5 speed 1990 CS: originally rated 22/34 http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/calcu...lumn=1&id=6855
    3.1 4T60 1990 CS: originlly rated 19/30 http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/calcu...lumn=1&id=6856

i'm not so sure of how powerful they are for a W platform car, but for L/N cars, they're excellent.

Yeah I knew there were Iron Ducks in the 1st gen Luminas, I had a 6000 with that and it was slow as hell there! The Quad 4 HO may have moar powers than the standard V6 but in the heavy W would the peakiness not be a problem? I once test drove a Calais with it and it seemes pretty quick, butt crack dyno anyway, but I think the Spirit ES Turbo I tested the same day felt quicker despite the 30 hp deficit. Granted, the Dodge had a stick.

Although it is rare, it would be too much work for this guy!

Damn, not a bad price at all for a running driving car. Tossing in q4, 5spd, and the fact that it's a Cutlass makes it even better. All it really needs is a little love
this IS a General Motors product and the general rule is that nothing should make actual sense.
