Question Last call - Canada August 24th or bust! (page 3)

Just an open thread for a Canada meet.

Ideally looking to place somefing dead in the middle of the two W-body nationals meets.

We missed out last year and it would be really nice to get something going this year.

Location: Kitchener Ontario (one hour southwest of Toronto).

Approx 2 hours from Buffalo/Port Huron

    Approx 3 hours from Detroit

Thinking of doing a weekend meet.

I can comfortably accomodate around 4, own rooms (some would be family room type rooms), own beds/futons in each room.

    No smoking (indoors), air conditioned.

Looking ideally to draw in some people from Ontario and some from outside of Ontario.

Looking to see who's interested and moderately interested.

Glad to hear that you'll be helping with the Regal swap!!

Chinese Matt should reserve the hoist.

Then . . . if there's time: Top Swap Amy.

I'm thinking some time in later July. Hopefully by then I'll have the deck rebuilt and we can BBQ as well.

I was thinking of having the meet from 7:00am - 3:30pm on Wednesday July the 11th.

    How does that sound?

I would love to make it out for a meet. I've only been to a meet once, a OQCGP BBQ last spring.

The future of my job is up in the air again so if I happen to start a new job before then it would be tough to get a day off right away.

It would be nice to meet some of you, of all the forums I've been on, this one has the coolest people.

As FYI, the Wednesday morning thing was a bit of a joke. Likely things will start off on Friday afternoon and run till Sunday or Monday afternoon type of thing. Saturday being the prime date to get together.

OK that makes much more sense

I also have a 3/4 full propane tank just sitting here. I'll most likely make it out there and if so, I'll take the tank along as a contribution.

Pretty serious about getting this thing off of the ground.

If you're pretty serious about coming or minorly serious. Please reply to this thread and advise on which weekend works best: July 20-22 or July 27-29th??

I would very much be interested in attending. Whichever weekend is fine with me, I have them all off.
