Late 90s Tahoe

I was on my way to work to pick up my paycheck from school and i was sitting at a stop light. This kid pulls up next to me in a tahoe, and kinda stares at me, then he takes off. I left the light like i normally do, pretty slow for mpg reasons; anyway i saw him keep looking back at me in his door mirror, so i hit the gas and did a little fly by. Sitting at the next stoplight, i was gonna race him, but he wouldnt even look at me. So, i just sat there and said fuck it, light turns green i take off slow, i hear his tires chirp. He pulls about a car length on me, i put it 3/4 down and i realed him in, got to 6K in first, and maybe 5K in second and my front bumper was sitting next to his front wheel, he looked out his window laughin his ass of. I just smiled and went on my way.

EDIT: When he turned and looked laughing, he was heading for he exit to the freeway, which is why we didnt race again, and i didnt keep going.

I dunno if my car can beat the Tahoe, but i know for damn sure, that the tq those have, the way we started, i figured flooring my car i wouldnt have caught him, but just going 3/4 throttle i was able to catch him pretty damn good.

When Todd gets back from college for spring break, im gonna have to race his dads 03 envoy, see how I do.

when we DO NOT breaktorque the 3.4 off the line our 60foot time is pretty shitty! a 4cylander cavilear can keep up with you to 30mph!

Late 96-99 350's are pretty powerful. My dad's 99 Surburban can move pretty well for it's size.

IIRC they have 255hp and 325tq.
