Last night out of boredom, I took a look at the spoiler to see what was broken... Turns out the passenger side mounts were non existent... So digging through my parts drawer, I was able to find the right bolts and washers to make a new mount... Pics to come...

Mike also gave me a couple tires to mount up, had that done yesterday as well... I am now headed to the yard to grab interior trim pieces for it and a couple other minor things, After that, Ill take more pics

    Spoiler mount pictures

Before, as you can see, the mounts are gone

Since it was cracked, I notched it just a bit to be able to put a screw in there with a washer big enough to not fall through, the pic is only of one, but I have both done now

Installed, I need to silicone or glue it in so it wont move on me when I go to put it in the car

On another note, I went to the yard today to get some parts for it... The blue GP gave me the exhaust tip and the passenger door handle

This black car had a mint body with the exception of someone having torn up the hood, I took the lock switch bezels, window switch bezels, center console, and SWRC

    I begin installation tomorrow

Got a few things accomplished today, First being replacing the front ball joints due to play in them and the front rotors due to them being warped... Pads had 60% left so I didnt replace them... Started with the drivers side...

    Getting things apart

    Old ball joint out

Chris making the ball joint his bitch... His hands are smaller so he was putting the bolts in for me

    New one in

    Replacing the rotor

    Antisieze on the T60 bolts

    Done with the drivers side

Passenger side, Those T60s are no match for the awesome powers of BGA and his breaker bar (its actually Chris's, but that doesnt matter at this point)

Stopped after getting the old ball joint out of the passenger side and getting the rotor off and replaced the passenger door handle with one in much better shape... Also adjusted it so the door opens much nicer now

Also replaced the trunk seal as Mike provided me with it
    New

    Old

New one installed... The trunk doesnt close as easily now but at least it wont leak (I didnt see any water or dampness to begin with though)

I bought orings for the spoiler to be installed tomorrow... I have quite a few other things to complete tomorrow too... Once this car is done, the Regal goes in for some lovin

Al in all seriousness, get that antisieze shit off the threads of the caliper bracket bolts. Clean the threads with a wire brush and use blue loctite and IIRC the torque is around the 140-160ftlb range.

Floor of the trunk probably wasn't damp because its been sitting in my garage for the past few months pretty consistantly. It definitely leaked. And I can see some hair there on the control arm... I guess still remnants of my run in with Bambi.
