    Good Bye Grand Prix, Hello...

First Gen... My 19th vehicle is awaiting to be titled as I type... I took a 700 mile roadtrip this weekend to deliver the GTP to its new owner and pick up a present to myself... Fehls 95 Grand Prix SE... used 71 gallons of gas, averaged 10 MPGs... Thank you John (GP1138) for helping load the GTP up on the trailer... With it being lowered, we sure had a hell of a time

Its rained and snowed from Dayton to Pittsburgh

    Ramp setup

    Mikes new car

Hanging out at Nunzis place, picked up some woodchuck and admired his rockauto magnet collection

The owner of Nunzis Lodge and Suites also soldered my tow mode wires as they keep breaking in the column... Thanks again dude!! The other pics are just getting ready to hit the road and how dirty the truck got on the trip

Then I admired this beautiful Euro thats for sale

Roadtrip home pictures... I was able to go 65 on the way home which means I could tow in 4th instead of third for better MPGs, the other truck/trailer combo you see is a Ram SRT10, looked beautiful

This is my housing complex as seen from I80... The second picture is the Regal as seen from the hwy

And here is how all 3 sit... The GP is getting titled and driven for a couple days, then I am making arrangements to keep it in a garage to fix it up the way I want it

    97 Grand Prix GTP - 173k, Sloppy Seconds V2.0

You seriously need some decals or something that say "W-Body Transport Unit" for your truck!

    Glad everything went smoothly!!

What are your plans for the GP? Just fixing the rust so it's all good to go, or any modifications?

Now all you need is a gen 3 and a gen 1.5.

Im just fixing small cosmetics for now on the GP... The Regal is going to be going under the knife and wanted something that runs and drives as I lost all interest in the GTP while it was tucked away in a barn... Mike gave me plenty of spare parts to keep me busy for a while on it... I wont touch the rust

    Z34guy, I have owned a 1.5 gen

Two more issues came up today... The drivers door wont unlock with the switch or keyless entry but unlocks manually just fine... And the security light stays on... Maybe because I have been using the remote start quite a bit?

The drivers door lock has done that as long as I've owned it. It annoyed me and i tried fixing it a couple times. I gave up. It actually WILL work sometimes, usually in very cold weather. I don't usually lock my cars unless I'm in a shady area or something valuable is in the car, so it never bothered me too much.

The security light comes and goes as it pleases. It just started doing that in the fall.

Which key are you using more? The original GM one or the Ilco copy?
