Hello, I have tried to search and find solutions to these running issues, but have not gotten the issue yet. This 3.4 has 42k on it now, is all original except for the plugs and oil of course. The antifreeze is no longer green, no oil just rusty I think. Have been planing to change fluid and thermostat just haven't yet. It is using some oil 1qt/ 1000-1500. My 17yo drives this it has gotten bad (to me ) before I knew some thing was wrong.
I thought the cooler weather made it worse but not sure about that anymore. When it starts cold it reeves to 2500 drops to 800, it keeps 'loping'
and will stall out. sometimes it will do this when warm too. Seems like it is missing also during this time. It runs great when you get into it. Gas mileage seems to be down too. I am driving it some myself to get a better feel for the prob.
No serv soon light, would a scan tool give info?
