History on the engine:
About 145k miles, out of a 95 vert.
I've only owned it for about 1 day before taking it out of the car, luckily I did take one video of it running to at least prove it runs!
It was overfilled with oil *9 QUARTS IN THE CRANKCASE* It was very foamy once drained. The pulgs were coated in oil. And it sounds like a lifter is shot. The timing belt was probably replaced not too long ago, but it's crap because coolant leaked all over it. something was causing the car to blow IGN1 40A fuse whenever I went over a bump or turned sharp. The dist. o-ring is leaking everywhere. (Which was a blessing when no bolts were rusted when removed lol) The fuse could have been from the alternator being completely soaked in coolant and oil, or that the connection was loose on the back. Not sure, but I'm done with this thing!!!
Just about everything is oil or coolant soaked, so not sure what that could cause to go bad.
It was very hard to start, partly because of a very sticky ignition switch. But it kind of sounded like it wanted to fire, or would fire one cylinder, then miss the rest, or it would kind of cough and sputter. Once it was started it ran like a top!
Here's a video of it running warm.
A couple pictures:
(Yes, the plastic timing cover is both cracked, and missing a piece!)
Everything is included besides the alternator!
(MAF, P/S pump (although that or the rack is bad... not sure which) Starter, Coil Packs, everything pictured pretty much!)
Price for everything: $325
100% complete engine wiring harness and PCM: $60
Two transmissions:
The one out of the LQ1, I'm not sure how it drives really, I could floor it, and not really go anywhere, but the engine didn't even sound like it was trying, nor struggling. I'm guessing it was due to being so overfilled on oil, and having all the plugs soaked in oil. So this one is completely as is and might just be good for a core or something, it has a 3.43 FDR. (THANK YOU AL!!!! lol)
Comes with torque converter, needs new axle seals.
LQ1 Trans: $60
The second is out of the 95 3.1L cutlass vert, It's been sitting for over a year now. It drove perfect, but didn't need it after the engine swap. Probably wouldn't hurt to get new axle seals for good measure. Torque converter is included. It had 154,508miles. This one has a FDR of 3.33 I can also include the (known good) PCM from this trans for a extra $25.
3100 Trans: $90
Buick radio's.
The radio part works on them all, tape on some, CD on none.
One of the tape ones doesn't have the tape mechanism, and I think one of the CD ones is missing the CD mechanism.
Make a good garage radio.
$5 each, $10 for all 4.
This is a shifter and counsel from a 97 GTP.
Comes with the shifter mechanism, shifter head with performance shift, the shift boot and gear indicator plate (not pictured), and the entire center counsel.
The arm rest feels a bit wobbly, and the cover for the cupholders is JB welded on. it's a little messy and could use cleaning. Comes with the shift cable and all bolts also.
Shifter and counsel assembly: $20
Next is the Lip and Tails,
The lip will need to be painted, unless there's another bahama blue cutlass with purple stripes lol.
The tails are good, the right has a smear by the olds logo, and the left has some fading on top it looks like?
I can paint the lip whatever you want, just give me the paint code, it will be painted in a BC/CC. (Not a rattle can job)
Price for unpainted lip and tails: $100
Price for painted lip and tails $125
Here's the stock tail's for the cutlass
$10 ea. or $15 for both.
A 97 GTP foglamp. not broken, but for sure rough looking
$5
97 GTP DIC, don't think it works with other years.
$10
01 Impala/Monte climate control.
Use for parts, the AC switch doesn't work, and I think the board is fried.
$5
97 GTP cluster 176821.9 miles. Never saw it working, couldn't tell you much about it...
GTP cluster: $15
04/05 Impala SS/ Monte SS Supercharged cluster
I can tell you this cluster needs a new stepper motor ($15 ebay) for the temperature. And also that without a PCM that sees boost, the boost gauge will simply point straight up the entire time. Everything else works. 73,503 Miles.
Impala SS cluster: $55
Not pictured is a 98 Bonneville SSEi PCM $25.
A 98 Regal GS PCM $25.
and the 97GTP PCM $25.
Pick up is always preferred, and all prices are for such.
Shipping can be done, but I'll have to get you a quote on cost.
The engine I'd like to sell as a whole, but will consider parting out if it doesn't move in a few weeks.
Trades are welcome!
Here's a list of things I'm in need of!
