    Steering feels too light

Does anyone else think the steering on Gen 1 & 1.5 cars is too light feeling? I first noticed it in our 95 Lumina then read some expert reviews making the same observation ("steering is too light and has little road feel"). I notice the 89 Regal also feels a bit on the light side.

Is that kind of referring to not feeling the road through the steering wheel?

Put poly bushings on your front sway bar. That will really help with steering wheel feel.

Check for worn out parts. Like tie rods/ball joints, struts.

    What tire and tire pressure?

After I lowered mine, put some sticky tires on, and upgraded the suspension, its a bagillion times better than stock. But it aint no supercar either so dont expect perfection

x2. Suspension upgrades can take care of a lot of that. Me and one of my youner bros both have 96 GP's. His is stock. Mine? Not so much, and as such mine feels so much better even with a trashed steering gear (pinion bearing has fallen apart in it).

I think a lot of it does have to do with age and our shitty midwestern roads, but from 08-09 I had a 93 deVille with 185K and that thing hugged the roads beautifully, then again it was a Cadillac

I drove a 9C3 the other week and it had a HEAVY wheel. Not like bad heavy, but like actually had resistance heavy! Do those have a different rack maybe?
