Also, in the off chance, you find a euro sedan in the same color (which is awesome btw) I'd take the trunk lid. Those euro spoilers totally change the look. I think the rounded 5 spokes will look good too

Naw, too many Euros out there, not enough Z34 appointed sedans out there. Sides, i already have a Z34 spoiler, just need the clean deck lid And this is the first Lumina this body style i have seen up here in my area with this color on it. Seen maybe one or two in the yards in Phoenix. Red, silver and white are the colors i see everywhere, occasionally that light silvery-blue color one will pop up once in a great while.

The fake wood-grain you're trying to get rid of, I just painted those peices flat black in my Euro. I have the same blue interior. I can post pics tomorrow if you'd like. And as for the strip with the silver on it, I also painted that flat-black on my Euro. The tape idea sounds much easier. Here is a link to a thread of mine so you can see the trim blacked out. http://www.w-body.com/showthread.php...nd-98-Regal-GS Nice car, the outside looks very clean.

    Update &New Look :)

So a little update before i sign out for the night and just chill and relax with dinner and movie.

Yesterday i was able to change out the plugs and wires, both lower motor mounts, change the oil and change the fuel filter. I tried to do the spring pads, but it looks like im gonna need better "shop conditions" to get those changed out. Im hoping i can change them out next weekend and get that taken care of as the ass end has the infamous squat. Next month, im hoping i can get the front and rear brakes done, transmission filter and gasket changed, the trans lines off the trans are leaking so those will get done, and maybe the oil pan gasket; saw it was leaking yesterday so that will be fun to do.

Today i took a trip to Phoenix with my wife in the hunt for a good set of wheels and a decklid without a spoiler/luggage rack. Needless to say, i was successful. I found a full set of Monte LS wheels all with decent tread. One tire needs a good scubbing, and one wheel needs some elbow grease to make it look as good as the others. And then, i need to put a new valve stem in one of the wheels as it was leaking out of there earlier; good thing i have a tool for that. I dont have any pics, but i should have some tomorrow. Im hoping if its not raining like it says its going to, i can get the spoiler installed and have that done and out of the way. Only crapping thing is, i need to paint the "new" decklid and spoiler to match the car. The lid is arctic white and the Z34 spoiler is faded red. I will get some pics tomorrow and post up. Now, i just need some center caps to go with the wheels and those will be done too. Im very pleased with the way the car is turning out

    Stay tuned!

    New Pics!

As promised, heres the pics of the the cars current state. Im working on tracking down the paint i need for the decklid and spoiler, and a way to mount the spoiler...thought it was gonna be easier than this.

Anyways, all i need for the wheels is the center caps. Im debating on the ones i see on Ebay with blank caps, but i also like the red bowtie ones as well, but not sure yet. Hopefully the tires on these rims will carry me thru for a while but time will tell. They are all in pretty decent shape. Its looking less and less like a grandpa car and more like something im happy to be seen in. Now, if i can just get the final touches on it

And the clean decklid i found. Just needs the spoiler

Hopefully i can get those touches done soon. Im excited for the final look

Like I've said before, I can't believe how far this has come and how fast. Those rims really set it off.

Thanks guys Now someone tell me how im supposed to mount this Z34 spoiler to my trunk lol Im searching everywhere and cant find any help on how to mount the spoiler on the sedans. A group of people have done it, but never mention the issue or it not being a direct drill and drop on.

I saw your post on the Beretta forums. I still skim them occasionally, since I still have a special place in my heart for Berettas.

I'm not sure if we were members of beretta.net at the same time or not. I had a garnet on garnet '92 base that I put a GTU kit and color matched wheels on.

I'm having trouble picturing what you are saying about the spoiler. Have any pictures?

I like those rims on that car. Really pulls it off nicely.

So yeah. For being in this sad looking shape, there were still plenty of good parts. I even heard the car still ran and drove.

So getting back on track, im hoping to get a couple more parts off it, like maybe the rear bumper cover. Of all the lower panels, its the only one thats not ripped torn or destroyed. I wouldnt mind having the exhaust system off it either, but not so sure about that one. But atleast i got something out off it for now...

Also got the grill from it too. Im really hoping i will have the spoiler on and painted, and trunk lid painted tomorrow. That way i dont look too weird driving around for long lol. After this hood, however, progress will be a lil slow as i need to finish the baby's room. But i will do what i can with it in the mean time. Like cleaning the crap out of lol.
