    flex pipe

Does anyone happen to know the ID and length of the flex pipe on a 96 GP SE with dual exhaust?

I've got an exhaust leak that's getting progressively worse, it only appears under load and accelerating in gear. Revving it in neutral it's not noticeable. Replaced the EGR pipe recently, rechecked the bolts and threaded nut in the manifold, they're all tight...o2 sensor is tight, haven't checked the manifold bolts yet so I can't definitively rule it out.

I don't see it listed on RockAuto or anything, I'm assuming flex pipes are just generic like lengths of exhaust tubing. Is that so?

The only flex pipe is in the x-over.

Connecting the two banks? Dammit. I don't know what the hell is leaking, then...I assumed the motor was tilting back when torqued up (leak is only accelerating in gear)

Well, I'm not sure how many W's it's on, but my Monte actually does have a short accordian-style flex joint, right at the beginning of the beginning of the DP. It also exhibits same leak behaviors as OP's

Interesting. I will put it on the hoist tomorrow if we've got a free bay at school and take a gander.
