Wheel adapters for 1994 Olds Cutlass Convertible

Ok, Found some rims I really like off another GM product and never even thought to check the bolt pattern...assumed it would be the same as mine 5 x115. No...ooops....it is 5 x 100 instead. Now I need wheel adapters but I know nothing about them. What thickness do I need? How do they install? Are they legal in Canada? I was reading that the x 5x115 studs should not stick out past the wheel adapter or the wheel can fall off. Then I saw pictures of one that had the orginal studs sticking out a good 1/4" and they said this was normal.

Whatever I do I just want to make sure it is safe. What do I look for in a well build wheel adapter? Any experience with them?

    Thanks
    Donna K

Personally I would find a different set of wheels.

I'm going to agree with Jeremy but qualify why.

For the amount that you are going to spend on wheel adapters, you could just spend that on another set of rims.

Learn from the mistake and sell the other rims.

As an FYI very little will fit your Cutlass Supreme in terms of aftermarket rims.
