    Lumina sedans with the LQ1...unicorns?

Gen 1 or 1.5, but I'm more interested on the figures for the 1.5. LOL, yes, I know that they did exist, but how freaking rare were they??

Odd that there's no figures for 97, I know that was the last year for the LQ1

I found it odd too. One of the members here ran through compnines vin decoder to try and find how many LTZ LQ1 Lumina's were made in 1997. I believe he came up with 7 LQ1 Lumina's total. Too bad compnine is down now so there's no way to prove it.

Somebody on here (don't remember who) said there were no 97 LQ1 Luminas. Even LTZ's were 3100's.

I like the LTZ's, very sharp looking. Ok looked it up, 97 LTZ's could have the LQ1, but it was no longer available on the LS's.

My 97 brochure says that you could get the optional 3.4 DOHC in an LS or LTZ, but I've never seen one. In a 97 Monte Z34, yes...but never actually in person seen one in a Lumina.

I know 97 was the first year for the ltz, I just thought that was the first year for the 3800 as well.

This discussion about the 1997 Lumina's with the LQ1's just will not die!!

A search will probably bring up a dozen threads about this EXACT topic over the last several years.

there were 97 Luminas that where made with an LQ1. all of them have the production coding as well. they were never released to the public and can therefore be assumed to have been turned into refrigerators or something.

on the same note, have you seen any LQ1 97 CSs? same rule as above, but there were only THREE.
