    Pittsburgh International Auto Show

During the NAIAS I brought up the idea of getting together for the much less spectacular Pittsburgh International Auto Show, a couple members had mentioned they may be interested in coming along. I think it would be cool to get together again, even though the Pittsburgh show isn't as good as the Detroit show. Anyhow...

WHERE: David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh PA

WHEN: The show goes on the weekend of the 17th-20th of February. I most likely plan on attending on Sunday, the 19th, which I know may make it tight for some people if they plan on coming. Sunday tends to be a little bit less busy than Saturday, and the city is quieter so in-and-out will be easier. Also, Sunday just makes the most sense for me with my work schedule.

I am sure I will be attending, and a good friend of mine will most likely accompany me down. If anyone else would like to attend, I'd be more than happy to help out in any way I could. I'm sure we could organize a car pool into the city as well.

PARKING: Parking is easiest at the Convention Center Garage if you get there early enough, usually plenty of spaces are available, at the cost of $10. This is nice because it is easy to get in and out of and is part of the Convention Center structure.

    Either day works for me.

Pitt show is kinda lame (at least compared to Detroit) but on the plus side there is a much lesser chance of getting murdered/mugged outside this one. Plus good food stuffs are nearby.

Monday of that weekend is family day, I'm out.

    Edit:

I never realize how far south of "Real Zelephobia Pittsburgh" this was, 666 miles, sounds kinda long . . . . and satanic!!

I'm sure that Chinese Matt will be out after seeing this map as well.

Its not that much further. On the weekend I can be from my house to anywhere in Pittsburgh in 30-40 minutes tops. I don't know what convoluted logic you are using to turn sub 400 miles into 600+

Here's the deal, if we do Saturday, there is no way I could make it there before 4:30 at the absolute EARLIEST, as I work until 4. Now the show DOES go until 10, and I'm definitely not afraid of being in Pittsburgh at night. But I'm sure that would mean I would end up going again on Sunday, as I actually do want to see everything there is to see at the show.
