Thread: Changing front fender????

    Changing front fender????

Got a new fender for my 89 international. Ready to swap it out, but whats the deal with the middle attachment point on the back by the door? Kinda like a bolt, but with no hex/torx/etc. on it to loosen it up. Would like to get this put on asap. Thanks.

remove the fender liner first before you touch anything else...... the answer will be self explanatory.

An extension off the inner fender, that the fender bolts to. Open the door and look halfway down. You'll se what I mean.

Much better. But you should of gave it a shot of red spray paint at the very least.

Got the fender on. Damn, they use a lot of bolts/screws. Popped the dents out and straightened the front edge of the door. Still pretty wavy though. Afraid to touch the quarter, for fear of breaking out the rear side window.

Is there a write up on fender removal anywhere? Mine is still red but I may have found a white donor car.
