    Don't worry about it. I can't start on it til I have all the gaskets and timing gear together anyways.

    Also BTW, my ex boyfriend sometimes trolls these forums for answers. He used to have a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina (where my tails came fromt) and now daily drives a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. He was initially a fan of pushrod motors, but lately has been wanting something OHC and has been eyeing LQ1 gen 1 Grand Prix's. Trying to fix his GT at the moment though (hit a deer. no structural damage).

    FYI those heads are off of a 5 spd car.

    I'm not sure if the slightly higher compression was in the pistons or in the heads, but if it is in the heads, you'll have a slight bump in compression.

    This project is temporarily on the back burner. I will return to this project soon, but not until after my Saturn transmission issues are sorted and recover from an unforeseen tuition payment (which had to do with it now being 2012).
