5 Speed Tranny Question

I know on another forum someone was talking about a 5 Speed tranny being made for the Z34's. Is there any ohter transmission that would fit in our cars that would bolt up rather easily ?
The Muncie 282 is supposed to fit with the half shafts from the 282 installed.
Any other ideas on this ?
I know we have talked alot about this, but kinda usless if our trannies die and we can fix them for a descent price or even get parts for them.

If you swap in a getrag 282, you have to use everything. the axles, mounts, pressure plate and disk, slave cylinder, etc. You can get performance parts for the 282 so it should hold the power decently. You will have to use a better clutch than stock though.
