    94 Olds Cutlass Supreme convert

    Hello all,
I have just purchased a 1994 Olds convert that has a JVC head unit in it. I would like to know what stock units and upgrades were available in 94 when the car was built. Was there a stock unit with a CD available at that time? Is there a way to hook the JVC head unit into the steering wheel audio controls?
    Thanks, Topbiker

Yes there were stock CD players available from the factory. They are hard to find and don't work very well. I don't know if you could make the JVC HU work with the steering wheel controls.

Also you could add door speakers to your 'vert. It make a pretty big improvement on mine.

Call up Axxess and see if they have a steering wheel controls module for your specific car and head unit. Chances are, they will have it. They aren't too horribly expensive.

You'll find that downgrading to a factory head unit will have a huge negative impact in sound quality.
