Al's Regal GS, paint page 9

I also am an idiot and bought another Wbody... Formerly Aquamans (Shaun) Regal... With the initial intention of using it for parts, BXX and Nunzi convinced me to put this beast back on the road... Sitting at a hair under 256k miles, I present you the new paperweight taking up space in my driveway... PS, I fit through the passthru in GP seats

Updates to come as I acquire the motivation to work on the car... I have a junkyard run planned with a huge list of things for it including a low oil level sensor connector, a window regulator and some intake parts to make a CAI as there is no intake on it right now... The main issue I need to figure out before I make the trip is why the drivers wheel is locking up... I believe it to be the ABS unit (trac module for 98 regal/intrigue only)... But I am going to crack the line and depress the caliper and see where it stops spraying fluid and whatever is in between the point where I have fluid flow and where I dont have flow, is bad... Ill deal with that in a couple weeks... Ill update the thread as I work on it

98 Regal GS - 260k, Aquamans sloppy seconds, for sale
    99 Silverado Z71 - 196k, BGA express
04 Ford Focus ZTS 2.3L/5 speed - 176k, also for sale

I was wondering what happened to that car. Always loved it, glad you're gonna do something with it!

Woot! Yeah, the master/ABS unit was swapped. It's definitely the trac unit on the firewall. It'll be nice to see this thing back on the road.

It will be nice that its back on the road as the car does have life left in it. I am glad that I am no longer involved with it though.

BGA, I'm glad that you have another Big & Gay car to work with.

YAY! I'm glad you're saving this beast!

If I'd have had the monies, I'd have offered to take it off your hands Shaun.

. . . . Nunzi would get to watch. It would be his Christmas present. And despite good intentions on my part, Nunzi would then be an accessory to arson. Sorry Nunzi. keep on letting you down dude.

    Back to the discussion again.

Can Aquaman explain this to me.

White does not stay on hood, flakes off.

    Spraybomb white also doesn't stay.

Spraybomb flat black does stay on hood???

I don't know. The only place where the paint still falls off is where I painted over the white. The flat black sticks to the primer fine.

When I wanted to buy this, it was not for sale. Glad to see it go to another member though, may it be better to you than it has to those in the past
