when scanning my car it has reading for MAF but does not have one yet the info it puts out goes up and down with AIR FLOW,on other days I swear it was saying :0: so I thought this is correct because not there or does it some how just use MAP to figure it out? thanks
They ONLY operate on Speed Density (MAP) what you are seeing is likely the computerized guesses MAP makes as to the AFR
