Main corridor of highways leading in 75 for North and South routes and it is connecting to the Ohio turnpike to go to West to IL or East to PA

They have allot already filling up so, room rates would be $84.95 a night.... now before everyone gets pissed about the price let me tell you what we would get

1. OUR OWN PARKING LOT (that meaning a seperate parking lot that no one else would be in but us) the parking lot directly behind the hotel is owned by the hotel she said on the phone that that is where the put car clubs when they stay.
2. Rooms facing the said parking lot with our cars in it and we could see them from our rooms all day and night
3. Full FREE hot breakfast including pancakes and sausage

5. Attached to the parking lot is a State Liqueur Agency http://g.co/maps/9x7mt
6. Maumee Bay State Park (15 mins away) - This is not your average park it sits on Lake Erie and is absolutely perfect for this type of get together, They have HUGE parking lots that would be suitable for parking our cars however we want for pictures and what have you, they also have the typical things like small picnic shelters on the beach, grills ... etc http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/tabid/764/default.aspx
7. Many other great picture opportunities around Toledo with city scape
8. There are also many other things within minutes of the area including more bars and restaurants, bowling, comedy clubs, wal-mart...etc
9. Junk yards are great and easy to get to and they actually let you walk the yard and pull it yourself (if you want a list of yards just ask I will throw it up here) and many of them have allot of 1st gens
10. Toledo is very central to "Most" members

Ok, this may or may not be overdue. But since Toledo has been chosen as the destination for the first w-body meet in 2012 I have cleaned up and reopened this thread. PLEASE keep this on topic so for now this will be open discussion.

Is there any way to kill the poll on this??? It's my opinion that we decided to have the June meet in Toledo, not decided that we will have a meet in Toledo we just don't know where to put it on the calendar.


Also does anyone know if there's some sort of BXX Evans lunch shuttle express?? I'm looking forward to opening BXX Evans location #003.

since I am trying to expand this past w-body.com into clubgp and to all w-bodies that are willing to come I have set up a Facebook page for everyone to "like" so no matter where you are from or what forum your part of you can have the info as it becomes available

I'll step in here. and maybe Its best to close for now and create another poll to decide what to do. While I am willing to help coordinate a multi-forum meet my first priority is w-body.com.

Personally I have no problem trying different things, however I am a little bothered that this was presented in the way it was... but whatever.

I do agree with this 100% however.

I think it could have potential to be a real good time but ultimately the choice is in the attendees hands, I can do it either way.

If that is the case then so be it. I think this could have been a little more transparent in what you had hoped to accomplish. So you are really done then? If that's the case then I'll spin up my own efforts at pulling this off... it saves me from doing yet another poll to figure out what the fourm wants.

So to anyone that really does like this idea better speak up now because I'll be going full tilt with a W-body.com meet sooner then later.

As I said before either format works for me, I like the idea of seeing new faces and meeting new people, ClubGP, GPF, OQCGP, RegalGS, whatever, they are all w-bodys and we are always wanting to attract more people.

I see the other side however I don't want "us" lost in the mix. So speak now or forever hold your peace...
