    plug wire problems

    i have a 1990 olds cutlass ciera and cant get the front three plug wires off because of a plastic heat shield that is sandwiched between the motor and the front motor mount hanger bracket how the heck do i get the wires out with out taking off the motor mount any help would be GREATLY !!! apreciated

    It should be the 3300 [LG7]

    If it's the top dogbone mount you should be able to remove it with no problems. Post up a pic.
    this IS a General Motors product and the general rule is that nothing should make actual sense.

    Been there, done that, I've got a Century wagon, same motor.

    You'll have to remove the dogbone, and the mount on the front of the motor to gain access. Never found any other way to do the job...but it's not that bad.
