Robert, go ahead with mine and add the ALDL cable end, the only two cars I have that use is are the '93 Buick Century, and the '95 LQ1 Cutlass, so that shouldn't present a communications problem.

the female connector is the one under the dash, the male connector (part of hte cables being made) are only on cables as whats being made/diagnostic cables

There are 1 1995 GRAND PRIX 2 DR vehicles (0.002%) matching your exact options list. There are 4 (0.007%) with at least as many options.

assuming they both have the same rectangular 12 pin connector, then yes, should work fine.

    does it work with OBD1??????

i've run out of 22 guage wire(these circuits are VERY low-draw) to build the rest of these ATM, but that will be corrected soon.

They do have the same ALDL connector...I've been using my old Actron CP-9110 for both cars for a long time now...but the Actron is VERY limited on what information it gives me.

i now have 8 cables ~90% assembled, the final 10% will depend upon if they are a serial or USB design.

since it's been such a long time between me starting this and actually announcing anything on the forum, i'll apologize beforehand, but everyone that is still in for 1/2/9001+, post again what you desire and i'll begin the final portions of assembly.

costs are still the same, but we do need to figure out who all needs what connectors so that can be dealt with.

shipping will run between 2.50 and 3 for the 48 states, not sure about international and AK/HI. i did send one over to Germany in 2009, i think it cost $4.80, so figure at most $5 for shipping.

with just the two of you, the cost of the connector alone is 35.85. split between both of you, that's 17.925 added to the price of the cable. if more people jump in, it will drop slightly.

I would like the USB version with the molded GM OBD1 male connector at the other end if they are ready to ship Tuesday 2/22/2012. You can email me if you like. I am ready to pay by PayPal immediately.

Let me know if they are not ready so that I can purchase them elsewhere this week.

    Thanks,
    Engineer Bill

definitely not possible, since i don't have any of the molded connectors on-hand and it would take 3-5 days for them to get here.

Robert, as much as you can, let me know as far in advance when these will be ready...I'm going to be travelling around the country A LOT in the next few weeks...I'm already looking at being in Oroville, Washington, Calexico, California, and Nogales Arizona...and that just covers the next four weeks...

I want to make sure you get paid in a timely manner, and my time on the boards is likely to be very limited over the next few weeks.
