As much I think Adam is awesome, I cannot wait for another year for a dayton meet. I have PDS right now. Also, I with Al about the dinner situation. I dont not care for hooters at all but it was damn fun hanging out with the crowd i was hanging with. You also have to figure, people are gonna go where they want to eat. We all get together at the RRI for hijinks later so whats the harm. There was no thrift shopping either this meet.

Plus we can't have the September 2011 meet in June anyhow.

We shouldn't even have it in August or Octobuary.

I've thought about it some more. I'd really rather not have this on the 2-4th weekend.

Much rather have it 9-11, would settle for 16-18 and would be likely to arrive very, very late if we did the 23-25th weekend.

    John,

Pick a nice night (where it's not too boiling hot and not too cool) and take Carrie out to Wings on Dixie - it's located behind Wal-Mart. We loved it, especially the food.

OK, hear me out here. Last year, we got rained out in September at the track. It didn't rain a single day in August. Would the last couple of weeks in August be bad?

The thing about weather....is it's so unpredictable, and by the time you get close to that point where the weather forecast is somewhat SLIGHTLY correct for those days....it's too short of notice for ppl to taketime off work and everything.

    That's just my $0.02

**Plus.... the Dayton meet in September 09 was that same weekend (around the 11th/12th) and the weather that weekend was gorgeous. Didnt rain once the entire drive down....entire time there...or the entire drive back.

I mean....I wouldnt be opposed to it being in late August....I was just saying theres no logic in changing it because it rained a little bit at the sept. meet last year. Overall it was still pretty decent weather IIRC.

Just as long as it's not the weekend of Sept 3rd or Sept 23rd I'll be there.

I'm gonna try my damnedest to make it this time. Suspension is getting hopefully FIXED next check. Then tires soon after. Then I won't be scared shitless of a 6-hour drive
