Wbody Nationals September 10-11th planning thread

There has been some talk about moving this meet to Toledo area, do you guys want me to do some research on things to do and places to stay or should we just have it in Dayton again?

I think we have a good thing in Dayton... changing it to a different city might be too foreign to some people... I could care less myself, its more about getting together with everyone

I'm all for keeping it DTF in Dayton. Most of us know our way around the area and we're getting into a groove there.

Yea dayton is very familiar to everyone and were finally getting it down to a science. Although in the back of my mind I do think a change of scenery would be nice. Maybe something along the lines of june's in dayton and September's somewhere else? My biggest thing would be it would have to be worth the change, im not really sure what all toledo has to offer but if its not much better than dayton I don't see the point. Either way I come for the good times with great friends so wherever it is ill be there. Maybe we could do a COTQ type poll and have whoever post a place and reasons why it should be there and vote on it. Like I said though I could care less where it is just throwing out my .02

The last two years it's been the Friday after the Labour Day weekend.

Personally, I'm not opposed to doing it on the Labour Day weekend. It would be nice to either:

    a) Stick around another night and head back earlier on the Monday.

    or

    b) Leave Sunday and not have to worry about working the next day.

I will be really honest. Any day other than immediately after the Labour Day weekend or the one immediately afterwards creates conflicts for me.

BREAKDOWN ABILITIES: In car mode, his engine emits vibration that causes mechanical failures in other vehicles...can speed to 200 mph...uses concussion cannon in robot mode.

I am up for another meet in Dayton... my car seems to like the drive as well. One suggestion though... lets figure out where and when we are eating ahead of time so we can make a reservation and not have the group all split up. That was my only real complaint about this one.
