poll: group buy for TGP lower air dam..B4U Valance

ok Im thinking about doing a group buy I just wanted to see the interest in these first. My friends father and I were discussing about making replica lower air dam valences for the 89-90 tgps.. He works with fiberglass and carbon fiber and makes his own surf boards. so if you can post your thoughts on this that would be awesome!!

    edit**

ok so after some discussion Im have a new plan.. How about a fully custom lower valance for the narrow body Grand Prix's?? what I mean by this is a lower valance tgp styled for the cars without the wide body kit.. This would allow a lower stance and would be better for those who have huge intercoolers or whatever to allow better cooling. I think its definitely do-able and since I want one for my own car it will happen. I just need to know if there is a market for this before we go ahead and make multiples after we make a mold. and yes it can be done in carbon fiber. I just stopped by today to talk to him and he was actually working on a line of surfboards that used carbon fiber! Hes got a line direct to the manufactures to buy rolls in bulk. He also suggested that if we could do it in lets say 2 or 3 piece that it would only use of cheaper shipping rates while keeping the product the same.

I may be interested depending on the price. Mine is still in one piece. But its sagging pretty bad so its only a matter of time before i hit something with it.

Slightly off topic, but carbon-fiber w-body parts would be awesome. I've asked a friend of mine with experience but unfortunately he's not doing any composite work right now.

that would def help! I was gonna call up intern8tion9l cuz I need a local car to check for fitment but this would work. How much you want? my zip is 11795. I will talk to him about the carbon fiber ones might be worth doing but that would be more of a custom order when we get the mold and everything is going smoothly.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the 91-93 valences interchangable to the tgp's? If so, shouldn't this be moved to the group buy section?

Yes , in fact the 91-93 ones are preferable because they are one piece instead of 2.

I have a 91-93 one piece valance on my TGP.

    Moved to Group Purchases section.

Added "B4U Valance" to title to gather more interest.

While we're speaking of CF, I'd adore a carbon fiber OEM-style rear-view mirror.

well I wasn't planning on selling mine, but I wouldn't mind lending it out, or possibly in exchange for a CF one or whatnot. Point being, I don't want to get rid of it, but I'm not opposed to helping the community out
