    Barely lost to a SHO

Those SHO's are amazing machines. I probably wouldn't trade my 93 Z34 for one, but I wouldn't mind adding a SHO to my stable. My 93 Z has the 4-speed auto (and to make matters worse one out of 3.1L lumina with the 3.33 FDR), flowmaster mufflers and a K and N box air filter (not the CAI style).

Granted the Taurus probably still has more hp than I do - I think they came stock with 220 and I probably have around 215-219 as she sits right now. I do think if I had a 5 or 6 speed manual I could have pulled on him a little, but every run he pulled just a hair on me. He couldn't stick with me through the corners, I'm pretty sure my eagle gt's are grippier than whatever he has on the ford.

I possibly could have had him if we both completely topped out, with my 3.33 FDR but alas, we shall never know because traffic never let us do more than 120-125 mph.

I didn't get annihilated, but the SHO definitely was the quicker car in acceleration that day, by the slimmest of margins.

I pruned most of the posts here as they weren't warranted in the first place.

I would not balk at the chance to own a SHO one bit. They are awesome machines.

Ok, I'll try not to threadshit.

To the OP: you do realize that you blatantly put other peoples' lives at risk right? You prepared to tell the father of a young girl who you killed when your car spun out of control at 125mph that you're sorry?
