Psych0's 92 5 speed GTP progress thread - Page 44; Spring '12 progress pics

So I got the GTP last night, busted up the valence trying to get her onto a tow dolly, and scuffed up the passengers side door when trying to unload Anyways, aside from that, the exterior I'd rate at a 7/10, with about 90% of the issues being on the plastics. Today I gave her a quick wash and quick interior detailing, and I snapped some before and after pics that I'll post in a bit after I clean up the driveway. Right now I'm at the point where I want to get her into the garage to start working on her.

She needs an alternator. That's basically it, aside from some engine bay cleaning, probably a few sensors, and then the usual maintenance from sitting for a year. The plan is to get her running top notch, then probably lower a slight bit, some tint, and done. I'm going to replace the Twin Dual Cam on the engine with a 94 Dual Overhead Cam cover cuz i like it better, probably some tint, and yeah... Here are some pics!

1k. It runs and drives, just has a completely dead battery and needs an alternator put in. Drove it onto the trailer, off the trailer into the driveway, and tonight drove it into the garage. Granted this was all only for a minute or two with another car hooked to jumper cables, but still enough for me to know it runs/drives/shifts just fine

I'll be getting at least all new rubber in the spring, probably all new rims depending on how these clean up

I think even the valence is temporarily salvageable, and it mostly just needs a good wax/buff and to be put back together. I'm bored so I'm gonna head out and tinker a bit. If I could get the wheel(s) off I'd start tearing down to where I can put an alt on, but until I get that last nut off I'm at a loss.

interior looks great! wingless looks tits as well....once you get it running, add new paint, tint, wheels and she will start coming together nicely...

Really, if I just took off the bumper covers and some of the side cladding to get painted, she'd be near perfect (well, in the sense of paint)

well I have tomorrow free until about 6, and then the rest of the week through saturday I work 12 hour shifts every day, except one 10 hour shift Hopefully I can get a few things organized and maybe get that busted lugnut off tomorrow.
