    4-hi headlight mod.

First... if this is in the wrong spot I apologize and I searched all over the site for info on this and found nothing so I posted it.
So this is something that I have done to my GM trucks since basically all GM vehicles post 86-91 (depending on the vehicle) have alternating headlights. That is basically the low beam headlight turns off when the hi beams are activated. This just irritates me greatly and I always have to fix it.

Soo it took some studying since these cars are all wired HOT and the ground switches to turn things on and off. But I figured it out a couple weeks ago and have been testing, works great.

Now my low beams stay on, when I switch to HI. If you guys have all done this then I join the club, but if you guys need the info LMK I'll post a how to with pics I took last night.

    Got Light?

    For the record . . . .

AMY has all four lights come on at once.

But the toggle is between high-beam and fog.

If the high beams are on, the low beams are also on. Perhaps someone can confirm if that is always the case with mini-quad cars (Grand Prix and Cutlass Supreme coupes).

I would love to know more about this too. The Highbeams on the Regal are pretty damn good as is...but more light would be nice.

Cool beans. I'll write this up tonight when I get home from work.

This mod should work on virtually all W-body GM quad light cars that are negative switched.

    Glad I can help out.

This mod for me would be useless there is ALWAYS someone else on the road, and with the Intrigue to use all 4 lights just pull back on the stick and hold it in place. This will last all of 15.1 seconds until you see another car approaching in the oncomming lane.

i already stated how to do this several times.... it is easiest on non-DRL cars, and involves splicing two of the wires for the headlight dinner switch together.

you know...this would also be great for some low-beam HIDs.... apparently they don't like getting switched on and off very often...

If you have low beam HIDs you shouldn't have a need for stock high beams, IMHO of course
