    Re: The Parts Number Thread!!

Maybe add a link to my GP Parts catlalog scans since there are TONS of GP part #'s there along with a lot of generic w-body part #'s from 88-96?....and since nobody goes to the 2nd page of the FAQ.

^Click the "GP parts catalog scans" album at the left of the screen after following that link.

    Re: The Parts Number Thread!!

I have the GP sedan parts catalog pages finally that I have been meaning to scan and post up as well. The GP coupe pages cover a lot but for the few body components that are different, the sedan pages should be a nice addition

    Injector O-rings:

    multitech 1
BWD 274573 (formerly GP Sorensen 800-9220) brown silicone
*kit contains 12 o-rings, not 8 as sometimes listed
*half the kit will do the top half of multitech 2 injectors.
    (carried by Advance autoparts)
*** BWD 274572 contains 8 rings... buy two and it can be cheaper than buying the 12 box

I just tried to order a new vac spider #10114903 for my TGP from gmpartsdirect.com and the order was cancelled because the part is no longer available.
Figured that might be good info to get out there. These vac spiders are becoming harder to get.

Something that is very recommended when doing deep engine work is to use revised problem solving intake gaskets so you don't have the risk of having to do the job twice, or worse. here they are:

    3800 gasket sets:
    FEL-PRO Part # MS98014T PermaDryPlus®; Intake Manifold Gasket Set
    FEL-PRO Part # VS50465R PermaDry® Valve Cover Gasket
*head gaskets and upper intake gaskets may vary by application in normally aspirated verses forced induction*

    3x00
Metal Intake Manifold Gaskets FEL-PRO Part # MS98004T PermaDryPlus®; with upper gaskets and seals. for SMALL port intake, L82 (Vin M)
Metal Intake Manifold Gaskets FEL-PRO Part # MS98003T PermaDryPlus®; with upper gaskets and seals. for LARGE port intake, LG8 3100 (Vin J), LA1 3400 (Vin E)
