I've always thought every single-color Cutlass has looked a little on the bland side, though on almost every other car I despise two-tone paint jobs.Originally Posted by Venom

Done: Custom two-tone paint, Enkei RS6 16x7, painted interior trim, UB3 cluster.
Soon: Looking into engine+trans swaps, probably L67.

Need ground wires? "Big 3"? Battery relocation? Amplifier power?
Thanks for all the positive feedback. After I finished it I wasn't too sure that it had come out as good as I was picturing it in my head.
I have a couple more little things planned for the interior in the near future:
- Re-do the steering wheel and dashboard leather. The steering wheel is peeling and the dash has a large crack above the air vent. I had the center armrest re-done already by a local upholstery shop. I don't have any before pictures but the leather was almost totally gone, and the foam was exposed. $45 for new padding and leather, it looks and feels brand new and it's a perfect color match.
- Replace the cloth on the dash speaker covers, they have turned purple after 16 years of sunlight.
- Replace the cheap paper-thin carpeting used on the door panels and other trim pieces. I'm thinking about using black carpet instead of graphite.

I love the car, but I dislike the paint on the interior, it looks out of place to me. Not bad job on the painting itself though!

Nearly 4 years and just over 500 miles later (yes, that's a massive ~125 miles per year) and I have another update! I've done practically nothing to the car while it sits in the driveway waiting for some attention. A few months ago the passenger side front window was shattered when the lawnmower picked up and threw a rock at it. Months went by and I finally got one from the local junkyard. Then the wheels were stolen while the car was at a friends shop and the car was left up on bricks. Luckily the car wasn't damaged, and a few months later the cops found the guy (arrested for attempted murder, no less) and I got the wheels back (in somewhat less-than-mint condition, of course
).
Now it's got a new (or rather an old but returning) issue where it likes to stall when you touch the throttle... It idles fine, but when you tap the throttle the RPMs will drop a bit for a split second. Sometimes it will continue just fine after that, but it will occasionally stumble and stall and then have some trouble starting. I haven't done much diagnosis on this yet, any ideas?
And then one bit of good news! I did finally get around to purchasing and installing the UB3 cluster I've wanted since I first got the car (forgot to switch to English from Metric before making the video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOfH2RhdXE4
The possibility of an L67 swap is growing, I really want to do it.
