My '92 Cutlass Supreme S coupe

I finished a little interior work today and figured this would be a good time to start a thread for my Cutlass pictures. I've had the car for almost a year now, and I haven't done anything major yet so there's not much to say about it. It still needs a lot of work (might need a new trans). I'll just post some pictures and you can all let me know what you think!

First an exterior shot. Custom paint job and wheels were done by the previous owner (my uncle):

Here are some pictures of the interior BEFORE paint:

And now AFTER the new paint:

And some close-up pictures so you can see the textured painting:

More pictures to come as I do more repairs and upgrades.

Nope, '92 was the last year I believe. Maybe '93, but none in '94 on.

    Here's my '94's dash.

I have cleaned them since I took that exterior picture a few months ago, and they look much better now. They are in pretty good condition cosmetically so they look nice but I want to replace them anyway because I think one of them is out of round. They'll have to stay for a while though, I can't afford any of the wheels I really like at the moment! I'm thinking about getting the original Motegi Trak-lites. I also love Gramlights 57F, but those are going on my Acura Legend.

I believe from late in the 1992 production run and on, they didn't have numbered gauges. My 92 sedan has a numbered gauge so it wasn't one of the final units produced where they slapped on anything they could to get them to dealerships.

Car looks great though, I like the interior trim painting. You might need to get your windows retinted though, starting to look purple.

Yes, they are starting to turn purple and there are a LOT of bubbles on the rear window.

From my research, all 1992s before somewhere between 25000 and 30000 got the numbered gauge and some 3.4s after that. J_Mezz has a 1992 3.4 car that DOES NOT have a numbered gauge but AWEB80 found a VERY late 1992 3.4 car in a junkyard that DOES have a numbered gauge.

Maybe just chance after a certain point then, production must have been very unorganized.

Things like this remind me of why I would never elect Jay as president. . . . .

So, with have 5 billion in the budget for VIN# collection of cutlass Supreme coupes from '92-'94 that are in junkyards. . . . . in an era where half of the US's cities are bankrupt.
