Re: Its back, for the most part

OHH right, I remember now you asked me about the painting. Definetly wetsand it good, don't be afraid to hit it with 1000 grit until it's smooth, then progressively go up until you get the shine back. You should have enough thickness to do it. Try it on one spot for trial, and be careful with edges and creases. It's not easy to "spray glass" so to speak.

    You're right.
I am out of ambition for this project right now. It looks okay in the daylight. Most people haven't really noticed it yet until I point it out. I'll work on it later. I can't see it hurting anything on the car if I let it sit until I have a little more patience for it. If I do it now, I know myself enough to know that I'm going to rush it and probably wreck it.
I'll have to put up some better pictures once I get the B4U on the front fender. I ordered 11 clips from GM today.. 5 bucks a pop.. geez.
It sure feels like a big fat tank compared to the Cutlass .. It's gonna take some getting-used-to again

Pretty good.. kinda stalled during the summer. I ripped a bunch of trees and bushes out of the yard and planted more manageable stuff. I have the other half of the basement framed up, then spring came, so I'll have to finish that this winter once it gets cold and snowy. Got everything painted up so its not so white in here and my wood blinds put up finally. Everything gets worked on slowly when I have some extra cash at the end of the month.. not a whole lot I have to do though.
