oh noes! got a new(used) car! Update on pg.2!

well, it was time to do so. tried to find a GP GT or GTP, but all i looked at were priced high for the mileage(high). looked for 00-02 MCs, mileage/price was a factor again. finally, found something that was low enough in miles and price; 01 Impala w/56k miles for $6,800($408 in taxes)=$7,2##! its the darker green base model(looked for an SS, overpriced.... ) its really nice, tan/khaki interior, split bench, 3400, descent radio/tape player(soon to change ), and steelies!!!11 it used to be a p.i's in wisconsin, so its got a survelliance(sp) mode button that cuts any interior light while the car is on and some unit in the trunk that may be for a police radio. i'll get pics posted here soon. i want to get a cd player, a stock wing, and ls style skirting to start off. check the w-body FS for good ol Crimson's ad.

that survelliance button cuts all lights when they are set on auto. it would've been nice to find a cheap mid 90's imp, but ones around here run close to $15k w/90k+miles.

nice! although it looks like the trunk was replaced at one time? cause notice theres pinstriping on the trunk lid, but not on either of the rear fenders. Looks good tho!!!!!

yeah, i didn't want to make myself look like a newb claiming it as a w. looks like i did that though! the unit in the trunk is for a cb. i'll get a pic of it soon. engine wise , not too sure if he had 9C3. i'm going to make it look like a LS, the skirting wing and impala side decals.

Put some better gearing into it (2.86 FDR FTL), and buy a DHP Powertuner to make the shiftpoints better.

The factory fucks both of those up hardcore.........

Go SS!! (With VERY sparing use of SLP pieces) I know someone who had an SS of that generation and it made me want to go to the dark side... Then I snapped out of it cause I know the Montes are cooler! lol

Your new ride looks awesome man. I know youll miss your DOHC though!
