    Oh my god. I cringed when I heard that video. Is there any way you could not drive it all the time? That motor needs some help

    REVVING IT AND DRIVING IT AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS...... ERRRRRRRR.....

    I suggest removing the valve cover and looking... not that hard.

    well im gonna take the cover off tomorrow morning and see if i cant figure it out if not its going into my mechanic tomorrow

    WOW that sounds nasty I'll third the lifter scenario... hopefully it isn't worse than that.

    Absolutely definately positively pull the cam (valve) cover and look at it.

    You'll need to pull the cam carrier to really tell.

    it its a bad lifter how much labor would it to get that fixed and aprox how much for a new lifter?

    IIRC, lifters are about $25 each (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

    Labor, I dunno exactly, but the cam would have to come off to do the job, and the cams would need to be retimed after that. Based on that, I would say not terribly cheap. If you were to do it yourself though, all it would cost is time.

    pulled the cover couldent see anything wrong so im asuming its a lifter

    You will end up dropping around $600-$900 to fix this problem while your in there get the timing belt replaced and do the oil pump drive seal.

    just got back from the shop and they said its a broken rod and that i need a new engine

    Broken Rod??? uhhh I doubt that happened mabye a spun rod bearing.

    i dunno but best way to describe the soudn is idling sounds like a john deer tractor driving sounds like a metal fork caught in a blender
