2000 Lumina Flashing Low Coolant Light

Hello!

I recently changed out my waterpump. No big deal at all, and I still have a slight leak around the seal I think, but nothing to worry about. I've lost the coolant a couple of times but now its either stopped, or has become a very slow leak.

However, I recently noticed a flashing low coolant light that is invalid since the
bottle and radiator are full.

What might cause this, and where is the sensor for the coolant level located?

did you bleed the air out of your cooling system?...if not, you probably have air bubbles in there that are setting your low collant light off...

Thats what I was thinking when I was reading it.

Or the sensor is bad. I can't count how many 97-03 GP's I've seen with this problem.

I am having this problem now! My 97 chevy lumina has its "low coolant" lamp flicking on and off, it never stays one. it just blips and disappears. Sometimes for 1 second sometimes for 10 seconds. My car does not over heat, my fans turn on , I check i have good levels of coolant. COuld it be a bad coolant sensor? I will try and smack it with a hammer tonight
