    Oil pressure sending unit location.

For christmas I got an oil pressure guage which I'm going to mount in the pillar. What I need to know is where the hell the oil pressure sending unit is located on the engine. I have a 94 Pontiac GP with a 3100. Is it the unit right above the oil filter?

My wife was smart. She got me a "T" fitting so I can put the guage sending unit on and still keep the dummy light sending unit on also. She also got me an Air/fuel mixture guage and a 2 guage pillar mount guage housing. Once I get it all in I'll take pics.

I don't think that's it. I took it off and it was too clean. There wasn't a drop of oil on it at all. There's another unit above the starter. I'm going to try that one.

This would be so much easier if there was good documentation on where the hell these things were.

I'm assuming it's in the same position as the 3.1...afterall the 3100 and the 3.1 are virtually the same. This might help out.

It's above the starter...a b**ch to get to(from the top was easiest for me). I also installed a pressure guage. If you'll get a T-fitting and hook up the original sensor, you won't have to stare at a dummy light on all the time.
