Window problem on my '01 Regal

    Hi,
My passenger side power window will not roll down at all. Is the regulator the culprit? Thanks in advance.

    Could be the switch too.

Could be a lot of things. Going to need quite a bit more info. Is the switch getting power? One way you can check this without getting technical is to see if the dome light dims at all when you hit the switch. That's how I checked it in my Z34. If it is getting power, it could be the motor.

Oddly, it's working again this morning and all day. Does this seem odd to anyone?

It's most likely the switch. The ones in my buddy's '97 GTP did the same thing.

Which switch are you referring to? Neither the driver's side or the passenger's side switches worked yesterday. That led me to believe that the regulator could be bad. I had a Maxima which was notorious for bad regulators.
