coolant overflow tank

i am looking to make the engine bay of my olds a bit more cleaner and custom. i was wondering if i could replace the coolant overflow tank with a coolant catch can. i am trying to make the bay romier and hate the look of the plastic tank. its so huge and ugly. any help would be appreciated

what year is your car? which engine?

i'm assuming you have an '88-'90 with the 2.8/3.1 and the ugly tank up by the dogbone mounts?

I swapped the front mount tank on my STE for the side mount tank that was on my 92. Thats a thought
