Is it just me, or do these MultiTec injectors just suck?

I bought a set of NEW GM injectors to replace the leaking injectors in my TurboSTE about 1 year ago. Well, my mileage sucks, so I pulled the fuel rail/injector assembly. Sure enough, 1 is leaking badly, and about 4 others are starting to. I think I'm going to call the injector place to see about the pintle style injectors, because I've never seen one of those leak.

Oh, and I had a few extra injectors that don't leak, so I replaced the bad one (the rest will have to wait). Who would have guessed? I got 26.5 mpg on the trip I took this weekend...much better than the 18 mpg tops I used to get. 232 miles on the trip meter and just under a tank left.
